Ahsan Khan, MA, BSc, MPhil, GDL Ahsan has the experience and qualifications to be an effective local councillor.

Until 2019, he was a local government chief officer, and prior to that was a housing association chief executive. Ahsan was very successful in both roles, increasing customer satisfaction to record levels through creating cost-effective responsive services, and getting the best from colleagues.
Ahsan’s first degree included political science, giving him a firm understanding of local and national government. He also has post graduate qualifications in IT, Housing and Law.
A father of four, Ahsan lives in Dunblane with his wife Evelyn, the SNP MSP for Stirling, and their two teenage children. He lectures on housing and serves on the Housing & Property Chamber Tribunal. Alongside family, Ahsan’s other two passions are Scottish independence and football.
He is also Convener of Dunblane SNP branch and helps with coaching and administration at Dunblane Soccer Club.
