Andrew Pemberton's policies

Statement to voters

The Reform part is made up of former members of the Brexit party who still wish to serve their local community, without the need to follow party policies set out in Westminster.

Full statement

This means myself and other Reform Party candidates, are free to represent you and what’s in the best interests of Clacton. Without having to “protect or abide by Party policy “

The reform party has been campaigning for community life matters, this is a group that, tries to promote the local community and improve it. This includes but is not exhaustive , the maintaining of roads and infrastructure. Especially the doctors surgeries, minor injuries unit at Clacton. The road safety around our schools especially illegal parking and the need for lollypop personnel, to ensure crossing the roads is safe for our children.

We have seen first hand many of the problems within our District. My wish is that I can make a difference, and have a big impact on the many issues facing my ward.

We enjoy all the great things this lovely town has to offer, such as the pier, the airshow, the gardens down the seafront, and the many communal greens we boast in Clacton. However there are various issues, the roads services cuts such a toilet closures to name two, that threaten the beauty if our area.

We will be working into funding for all our children to be able to swim safely and have Knowledge of all the dangers when at the beach.

We run weekly community speed watches with several volunteers around Clacton and organise a regular community litter pick in multiple wards and along the seafront. So our beaches look beautiful and attractive to tourists, so they come back time and time again.

We are putting candidates to stand for the reform Uk former Brexit party, because we passionately believe clacton deserve better. That national policies belong in Westminster, that they have no place in individual wards or counties, because one shoe doesn’t fit all. Each ward or area is as unique and individual as a person.
For too long TDC has been stifled by cross-party squabbling, only voting along party lines, with one party closing ranks against others and vice versa;

Been an Independent means very little is achieved as, you often stand alone.

Every action I undertake, will be in the best interest of my Ward and not because I have been told that I must vote that way.
We are not a career politician, every job that needs doing, will be undertaken by the best business for that job, not like now where a few select businesses get the job. It will be tendered correctly, not given to friends.

Studying and reading what the other Candidates are saying , it’s like reading from the party manifesto from Westminster at the general election. We have MPs who are elected to tackle those national problems. Local Councillors should be residents of their Ward and be here for local reasons, solving local problems and tackling local issues.

If elected, my full attention will be on what matters to Clacton first and foremost.
One of the first things We intend to campaign for, will be the switching on of street lights. So that women can feel safer on Clacton’s streets, especially those who provide valuable services such as carers, nurses and shift workers. So that they can feel safe walking home.

Among many other things, this includes...

The state of our roads & pavements.
Which I’ve now managed to do.
I been working with ECC to get roads fixed.
The. Roads are mess and the councillors/Council at the moment are all talk. The roads Need to be maintained properly and effectively

I want to keep our area free from dog fouling.

littering is a big issue on our wonderful open spaces.

I will try stop the cowboy developers putting in plans to build houses, without the infrastructure of schools and gp services. Which are absolutely vital to provide for the ever growing population of Clacton.
We have lots of antisocial behaviour which needs to be resolved.

There are so many other problems in which we are facing in Clacton, especially the effects of COVID-19 as we come out of another lockdown with the trials and rebuilding of the local economy . A vote for us is a vote for a local people , who cares deeply about his community.

The reform Uk will put this area first & foremost somebody who Is committed to making things better for every one

• Please vote for us, we hope to be the first name and the only name you pick on your Ballot Paper!

Now that , ECC Conservative have United with The independent party are working closer with each other on local cuts.
This is what it is, it’ cuts and more cuts and not improving our services, which is what they both keep saying.
I didn’t believe things could get worse
But they are.
We are expect massive cuts to social care Budgets with in Tendring by Tory County Councillors.
Who also sit on Tendring district Council as district councillors.
They have voted for increases in charges to independent care for disabled and elderly.
cuts to the disabled budget for families and children cuts to our local firefighters and police services.
- cuts to youth services.
- cuts to children centres.
- cuts to bus services.
- cuts to public toilets.
- cuts to library services.
-Cuts to street cleaning.
-cuts to rubbish collections.
- Cuts to Potholes, replacing road signs cutting back vegetation.

We stood up for what was right..
we fought for moral reason.
We passed laws, struck down laws for moral reasons
we wage war on poverty not poor people'
'That we sacrificed, we cared about our neighbours'
We put our money where our mouth were and we never beat our chest. We built great big things,
Made ungodly technological advances explore the universe cured diseases and we cultured the world greatest artists and the world's great economy.
We reached for the stars acted like men. We aspired to intelligence we
Didn't belittle it.
It didn't make us feel inferior.
We didn't identify ourselves by who we vote for in the last election and we didn't...we didn't scare so easy.
We were able to be all them things and do all these things because we were informed. By great men and women who were revered.
The first step in solving any problem is recognising there is one.
Great Britain is not the greatest country in the world anymore
